The latest release of the Micro Focus Identity Manager, version 4.6, is now available. This version includes new features, product enhancements, and a more user-friendly interface. Many of the improvements introduced are based on suggestions from our Micro Focus customers.

A modern new dashboard as a central hub for all identity management tasks for end users/employees

• Requesting permissions (roles, resources) and workflows for oneself or for other employees
• Approving or rejecting access requests, claiming tasks and handling them later
• Performing tasks on behalf of another person in the team
• Viewing all assigned roles and resources
• Tracking status and history of requests
• Managing profile settings and passwords
• Searching for other employees within the organization and executing relevant actions

Improvements to the Identity Manager engine

• Mutual authentication between the remote loader and the Identity Manager engine

• Support for eDirectory 9.0.2 and 8.8.8 SP9 (and above) via the Identity Vault

Support for email-based approvals

The dashboard provides approvers/reviewers with the ability to approve or deny requests directly via email. The notification can include action links for quick approval or denial, allowing users to respond quickly and easily. Email approval also supports digital signatures to authenticate message content.
