In October 2024, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sven as a new member of our team. Hailing from the Stuttgart region, Sven brings not only fresh ideas but also solid expertise from his dual studies in computer science, which he successfully completed at the State Center for Data Processing (LZfD) in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University at the end of 2024. Since November 2024, he has also been pursuing a part-time Master’s degree (M.Sc. in Computer Science) at AKAD University in Stuttgart, which he aims to complete in three semesters – alongside his full-time role with us.

During his studies, Sven developed a strong interest in IT security. In addition to a solid foundation in areas such as “Organizational IT Security” and “Security Concepts,” he deepened his knowledge through electives like “IT Security” and “IT Forensics.” He is also well-versed in programming: besides experience in C and Java, he brings valuable skills in Angular and TypeScript – technologies that are especially important in our One Identity environment and our R&D RoleManager.

Sven’s professional background is just as interesting: he originally completed vocational training in the aviation sector. Due to the impact of the pandemic, he decided to pursue a new path in computer science. However, his passion for aviation remains strong – in his free time, he volunteers as a flight instructor for light and private pilot licenses at a flying club on the Swabian Alb.
