The One Identity Partnergroup is One Identity's annual event for all partners and took place on June 26, including the evening before, at the dm-dialogicum in Karlsruhe. As specialists in the Identity & Access Management products from One Identity, it was naturally a given that our One Identity IAM consulting team and our sales team participated in the Partnergroup. After all, it is part of our philosophy to always stay up to date on all developments concerning the One Identity product portfolio.

BBQ Buffet and Networking on the Evening Before

On the evening before the Partnergroup, all participants were invited to a BBQ buffet on the terrace of the dm-dialogicum, which was truly impressive. With various grilled specialties, a rich salad buffet, delicious appetizers, and Tannenzäpfle beer, attendees could network and exchange ideas with other partners and One Identity employees in a relaxed atmosphere and prepare for the next day.

Highlights of the Event

The agenda for the actual event on June 26 was very promising, as the Partnergroup was divided into two parallel tracks for the first time. There was a technical track and a sales-oriented track to better address the different interests of the partners. In total, around 20 presentations and a panel discussion in each track were available. Of course, attendees were free to switch between tracks if desired.

The highlight of the technical track for our One Identity consultants was the presentation “Outlook on Upcoming Features in Identity Manager 9.3”, which gave an overview of the new features and improvements in the upcoming version. Particularly exciting were the anticipated enhancements to the workflow engine, which will now be able to handle more complex processes, as well as new templates for approval workflows.

Also highly interesting was the talk on "Behavior Driven Governance", which introduced the concept of optimizing governance processes in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM) by understanding and analyzing user behavior. Stephan Hausmann explained how behavioral data can be used to make governance decisions that are both secure and user-friendly.

The sales track also offered many valuable insights to help partners clearly and convincingly communicate the benefits of identity governance solutions to customers. A particular focus was placed on the strategic approach to marketing the new version of the One Identity Manager. The emphasis was on how the new features in version 9.3 can be used as key selling points. Topics such as cloud integration, automation, and compliance were in focus. Potential objections from customers were also addressed and suitable responses were presented.

Another exciting part was the presentation of the complete One Identity product portfolio, highlighting cross-selling opportunities such as for the PAM Essentials solution. Additional presentations provided information about solutions and services from other partners that could add value to One Identity projects.

The dm-dialogicum also proved to be the ideal setting for the Partnergroup. Excellent catering and plenty of space with seating areas outside the conference rooms gave participants ample opportunities to network, make new contacts, and discuss the content of the presentations during the breaks.

Participation in the One Identity Partnergroup was once again worthwhile for us. It’s an event that no One Identity partner should miss. You can attend interesting presentations, expand your knowledge, network with other partners, meet One Identity experts, and benefit from the know-how and experience of others. Our consultants are already looking forward to next year and will definitely attend again.
