One Identity Team Ruhloff & Dauner auf der One Identity UNITE 2025 - englisch

This year, we attended the One Identity UNITE for the first time. Our goal was to get to know the event and assess whether future participation as a sponsor with our own booth would make sense. After four intense days in Prague, it’s clear: UNITE has far exceeded our expectations.

Organization and Location

The One Identity UNITE impressed with excellent organization and a high-quality program offering a well-balanced mix of presentations and workshops. The location — the Hilton in Prague — provided an ideal setting for professional exchange and intensive networking. The entire One Identity team did an outstanding job with this event.

Conference Content, Presentations, and Workshops

The conference was exceptionally well-structured and offered a wide range of valuable presentations on both business and technical levels. The focus was on current developments and best practices in Identity Security, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, and Active Directory Management. The program included keynotes, strategic business sessions, technical deep dives, workshops, and hands-on formats. The deep dives, in particular, provided practical insights and concrete takeaways for using One Identity’s identity and access management solutions in everyday business.

Interest in our Quick IAM Access App for One Identity

Another important reason for our participation was to evaluate the One Identity community’s interest in our Quick IAM Access App for One Identity. On site, we were pleasantly surprised by the large number of conversations with interested One Identity customers. Our Managing Director Peter Dauner and our Quick IAM Team Lead Justus Wingert were almost constantly engaged in discussions with customers, exploring concrete use cases for the mobile application.

In these conversations, it became clear that the mobile ordering of permissions and other resources is a highly relevant use case for many customers. Even more important, however, was the topic of approvals. Managers, department heads, and team leaders in particular expressed a strong desire for a user-friendly, mobile solution to approve requests quickly, from anywhere, and efficiently.

Approvals were already part of our roadmap before One Identity UNITE. However, the direct feedback from customers highlighted how high the priority for this functionality really is. As a result, our developers will now move forward with its implementation as a top priority.

Our sincere thanks go to all One Identity customers who showed interest in our Quick IAM Access App, shared their requirements with us, and provided valuable input. The conversations we had on-site confirmed that there is clear demand and a significant market for our Quick IAM Access App.

A special thank you goes to our Quick IAM Team Lead, Justus Wingert, for his tireless commitment in presenting the Quick IAM Access App to customers and partners.

Our Conclusion

Attending One Identity UNITE was a complete success for us, both professionally and strategically. That’s why we’re already looking forward to One Identity UNITE 2026 in Vienna — and the opportunity to participate with our own booth.
