Hubert Hirsch is a pillar of the Micro Focus NetIQ community, long recognized for his exceptional expertise in Micro Focus NetIQ Identity & Access Management solutions and his consistently cheerful, helpful demeanor. At numerous Micro Focus NetIQ customers, he has laid the foundation for successful projects through customized IAM training or solved implementation challenges whose complexity overwhelmed other consultants.

And now he's joined Ruhloff & Dauner! Hubert Hirsch has strengthened our IAM Consulting Team since October 1, 2021.

Hubert describes what motivated him to join us:

"Ruhloff & Dauner has built an incredibly experienced IAM team over the years. Here I can exchange ideas with colleagues at eye level while continuing to learn and develop. I'm excited for new challenges and interesting projects."

After studying physics at TU Dortmund University, Hubert spent over 10 years as an organizational programmer in logistics before joining Novell's consulting team in 2001. This marked the beginning of his career as an expert in Identity & Access Management and security solutions. Through numerous IAM projects, he developed extraordinary expertise and became the go-to person for particularly demanding challenges.

As a sought-after IAM specialist, he moved to an IT service provider in Düsseldorf in 2009, where he spent the last 12 years primarily working on IAM projects and serving as an IAM instructor. After several weeks of training in the U.S., he began as a Certified Novell Instructor (CNI), initially delivering standard training before increasingly focusing on customer-specific IAM training with practical relevance. Hubert consistently stayed ahead of the vendor (first Novell, then Micro Focus after acquisition) - for example, he was the first instructor to deliver training for Micro Focus NetIQ Identity Manager version 4.8 before Micro Focus offered it themselves.

In all his IAM projects to date, Hubert emphasizes not just being an IAM specialist but also thoroughly understanding the technical aspects of connected source and target systems. His philosophy is that an IAM solution is only as good as its individual integrations. Beyond technical aspects, he prioritizes involving all project stakeholders from IT and business units in developing the new IAM solution to address concerns early and build necessary acceptance.

Our managing directors Ingo Ruhloff and Peter Dauner and our entire IAM team are thrilled about Hubert joining us. Hubert and Ingo previously collaborated successfully on several projects, and both are happy to continue this partnership.
