He is an absolute all-rounder and feels at home in any role within Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects: consultant, project manager, architect, developer, or coach. Our sensational new team member Dr. Ralf Hirning is a tremendous asset to our IAM consulting team. He has in-depth expertise in IAM and the Micro Focus NetIQ products like hardly anyone else, delivers outstanding project work, and genuinely enjoys passing on his knowledge and over 10 years of IAM project experience and more than 35 years of software development to his colleagues.

Ralf began his career after earning his PhD in physics at renowned IT companies such as Unilog Avinci and GFT Technologies before discovering his passion for Identity & Access Management in 2009. He started as a Senior IAM Consultant at a consulting firm in Stuttgart, before moving to MHP in Ludwigsburg, where he led the IAM Consulting division for almost six years. Since March, Ralf has been with us, where—alongside his project work—he is also responsible for developing our IAM consulting strategy. His focus will be especially on further integrating agile development methods into our IAM project methodology and adapting it to constantly evolving customer requirements.

It is wonderful to work at a dedicated IAM specialist like Ruhloff & Dauner, where every project is executed with the utmost professionalism. And of course, it’s a great pleasure to once again collaborate with my highly valued colleagues from the past.

No surprise—his move from MHP to us is in many ways a return, as he previously worked alongside our managing directors Ingo and Peter, as well as our consultants Linus and Marcel on IAM projects.
